Microsoft’s has the world largest Software Company who has been developed a large amount of softwares and this time now he recently make a Window 10 after the Window 8.1.
Microsoft’s Cortana, the voice-based virtual assistant has received an update in India that has expanded the categories of interests in the app.
According to a report by Windows Central, the Window 8.1 update has brought Cortana to the UK and China in beta. Australia, Canada and India would include Cortana in alpha. Up until now, Cortana just included two categories for news and weather. But now, new categories of interests included are trip planner, daily routine, local events, fitness tracker, food and more. The report also pointed out that the new features in Cortana’s Notebook are good for users outside the US and helps the company with a lot of data from various diverse users across the globe.
According to a previous report, Microsoft will bring Cortana support for Android and iOS as well. This support is part of the Phone Companion app announcement, made by Joe Belfiore via a video, to be available on Android and iOS devices, which lets them access Windows 10 content from either Windows 10 PC or Windows 10 mobile devices.
According to the Windows blog, you will need to download the companion app if you are on Android or iOS to access certain apps on your Windows 10 PC. Cortana, Microsoft’s personal voice assistant, will also be part of this Companion app. It will come on the Android platform by the end of June, and iOS by the end of the year. Cortana support will include notifications for sports, tracking flight schedules and most of the other features seen on the Windows Phone OS and Windows 10 versions.
